Journalism is my background. Working closely with photojournalists in a newsroom has strongly influenced my photography style and perspective.
Images are most fascinating and meaningful when caught in the moment, while allowing people to be themselves.
My perspective is genuine and unbiased with a contemporary, photojournalistic flare.

I have taken several photography classes online and from the University of Utah. Graduating in journalism, I attained much behind-the-camera experience filming live newscasts, which is a lot like photography. I have also gained familiarity with the opposite side of the lens as an anchor for a local Davis County newscast.
Each experience has yielded valuable knowledge and inspiration with which I have created my own artistic perspective.

That is very romantic! Grey is wearing his romantic eyes as he goes in for the snuggle. Love it!
That little ballerina is simply gorgeous! Her big dark eyes are stunning. Great pics Kell! Oh and the one on your family blog of the two little lovebirds tipping over had me laughin for a good hour ;). What a great moment to capture.
