my background
Journalism is my background. Working closely with photojournalists in a newsroom has strongly influenced my photography style and perspective.
Images are most fascinating and meaningful when caught in the moment, while allowing people to be themselves.
My perspective is genuine and unbiased with a contemporary, photojournalistic flare.

I have taken several photography classes online and from the University of Utah. Graduating in journalism, I attained much behind-the-camera experience filming live newscasts, which is a lot like photography. I have also gained familiarity with the opposite side of the lens as an anchor for a local Davis County newscast.
Each experience has yielded valuable knowledge and inspiration with which I have created my own artistic perspective.

I think these are the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen.
Somehow I have never seen these pictures. They are amazing. That last one of them is my favorite. Jamie needs a huge print of that.
