Journalism is my background. Working closely with photojournalists in a newsroom has strongly influenced my photography style and perspective.
Images are most fascinating and meaningful when caught in the moment, while allowing people to be themselves.
My perspective is genuine and unbiased with a contemporary, photojournalistic flare.

I have taken several photography classes online and from the University of Utah. Graduating in journalism, I attained much behind-the-camera experience filming live newscasts, which is a lot like photography. I have also gained familiarity with the opposite side of the lens as an anchor for a local Davis County newscast.
Each experience has yielded valuable knowledge and inspiration with which I have created my own artistic perspective.

And, wow, look at you as a wedding photographer! Everytime you break into a new type of photography, I think "wow, she's really found her niche", but I think that about everything type of photography you do. You're so talented!
