Journalism is my background. Working closely with photojournalists in a newsroom has strongly influenced my photography style and perspective.
Images are most fascinating and meaningful when caught in the moment, while allowing people to be themselves.
My perspective is genuine and unbiased with a contemporary, photojournalistic flare.

I have taken several photography classes online and from the University of Utah. Graduating in journalism, I attained much behind-the-camera experience filming live newscasts, which is a lot like photography. I have also gained familiarity with the opposite side of the lens as an anchor for a local Davis County newscast.
Each experience has yielded valuable knowledge and inspiration with which I have created my own artistic perspective.

If you send some of your pictures to the state fair, I think you should use the picture of her looking at her cake. That is so funny!
By the way, I still want you to do some pictures of Berkli. She has just been sick and I haven't had a chance to call.
